Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut’s aerial action film ‘Tejas’ has been facing a challenging box office run since its release, showing no signs of growth. It shared its theatrical release with Vikrant Massey’s ’12th Fail,’ which is gaining momentum due to positive word-of-mouth.

Tejas’ continues to see a drop in its daily collections, struggling to attract audiences. On November 1, ‘Tejas’ earned a meager total of just Rs 5.15 crore. Kangana portrays the character of Tejas Gill, an air force officer. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film released in theaters on October 27. Since its release, ‘Tejas’ has struggled to maintain audience interest and witnessed a substantial drop from its previous day’s collection of Rs 45 lakh.

As a result, the film’s total box office collection in India currently stands at Rs 5.15 crore. ‘Tejas’ had an overall occupancy rate of 8.39% on November 1. Kangana Ranaut took to social media to urge audiences to watch ‘Tejas’ in theaters, emphasizing the importance of supporting the struggling cinema industry and the theatrical experience.

On the other hand, ’12th Fail’ is experiencing a more positive response. The film tells the real-life story of a dacoit-turned-IPS officer, Manoj Kumar Sharma, and also traces the journey of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi. Starring Vikrant Massey as Manoj, with Medha Shankar playing the female lead, ’12th Fail’ continues to gain momentum.

On Wednesday, November 1, ’12th Fail’ managed to earn about Rs 1.08 crore, bringing its total box office collection in India to Rs 11.69 crore. The film had an overall occupancy rate of 17.41% on November 1, indicating its growing popularity among viewers, making it a contender to watch in the box office race.
