Bhopal: Ticket allocation in the Madhya Pradesh Congress has led to a political storm, with protests and demands for changes erupting after the announcement of candidates for 230 seats. In particular, the constituencies of Bijawar and Malhargarh have become hotspots for opposition within the party.

In the case of the Bijawar assembly seat, there is opposition against the Congress candidate, Charan Singh Yadav. Numerous party workers gathered outside the residence of Digvijay Singh, the veteran Congress leader, urging the removal of an external candidate and the nomination of Bhuvan Vikram Singh.

A similar situation has unfolded in the Malhargarh constituency within the Mandsaur district, where party supporters are demanding a change in the candidate. Hundreds of party workers have descended upon the state capital, Bhopal, advocating for the nomination of Shyam Lal Jokchand, a move that goes against the official choice of Congress, which named Parshuram Sisodiya as the candidate.

This internal strife within the party has not gone unnoticed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has taken the opportunity to criticize the party. BJP spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi pointed out the rifts within the Congress party, stating that they will follow the actions of Congress leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh. He humorously compared the situation to a torn-clothes competition and speculated on further potential developments.

As tensions and disputes continue to rise within the Madhya Pradesh party, it remains to be seen how these internal dynamics will influence the forthcoming elections and the overall political landscape. The situation is currently marked by divisions and rivalries within the party, with both the Congress and the BJP monitoring the unfolding drama closely.
