Every returning officer should visit the polling booths of their area and ensure the availability of all basic facilities at the polling booths.

Polling Booths with more than 1500 voters should be divided into two parts for the convenience of the voters and a new polling booth should be built in the same premises or in a nearby building. The facilities of the polling team and security personnel coming to vote at the polling booth should be taken care of, so that they have a good experience while voting.

Meanwhile, a marathon meeting of Central Election Committee of Congress is going to be held in Delhi today for two days. It is expected that Congress shall reveal its first list on October 15 with more than 150 names in it. This will likely include the names of candidates for constituencies where the sitting MLAs have the same name along with 66 consecutive losing seats.
