Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched the innovative ‘Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme’ online from his residence office on October 3, 2023. The scheme will provide free coaching for competitive examinations of engineering and medical to students studying in government schools in the state.

The scheme is named after Swami Atmanand Saraswati, a renowned educationist who played a key role in the development of education in Chhattisgarh. It is being implemented in partnership with the renowned Allen Career Institute, which will provide coaching to students at 150 centers across the state.

To be eligible for the scheme, students must have scored at least 60% marks in their Class 10 board exams. The coaching will cover all aspects of the competitive examinations, including subject knowledge, problem-solving skills, and test-taking strategies.

Speaking at the launch event, Chief Minister Baghel said that the scheme is a step towards providing equal opportunities to all students, regardless of their financial background. He said that the government is committed to providing quality education to all students and that the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme is a reflection of this commitment.

“We want to create a generation of students who are capable of competing with the best in the world,” Baghel said. “The Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme will help us achieve this goal.”

The scheme is expected to benefit thousands of students in Chhattisgarh. It is a bold initiative by the state government to improve the quality of education and to create opportunities for all students.

Besides, CM Baghel also Inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development works in Dabhra, Sakti. He posted a video on Twitter to confirm the same.

Earlier on September 27, 2023, CM Baghel virtually inaugurated 3978 development works including an ethanol plant in Kabirdham district worth Rs. 2668 crores and laid foundation stone for 3322 works with a total worth of Rs 3411 crores.
