Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has convened a cabinet meeting scheduled for September 26 at his residence. During this meeting, discussions are expected to revolve around the disbursement of the third installment of the NYAY (Rajiv Nyay Yojana) scheme. It is noteworthy that there are indications of the imposition of a code of conduct, likely to take effect any day after October 5.

Earlier, Baghel had announced the disbursement of the third installment of the Rajiv Nyay Yojana for this month. Furthermore, an installment for unemployment allowances was announced during the Women Prosperity Conference.

Both of these proposals are anticipated to be on the cabinet’s agenda for approval. In preparation for the cabinet meeting, CS Amitabh Jain has requested proposals from all secretaries, with a deadline set for submission by the evening of September 25.

Moreover, the meeting is expected to address the approval of the rice procurement and custom milling policy. The forthcoming rice procurement season is slated to commence on November 1, and there may be discussions about increasing the procurement rates. These decisions will have a significant impact on various aspects of the state’s welfare and agricultural policies, setting the course for future developments.
