Raipur: Amid the surge in Covid cases in India, a ‘ray of hope’ is found in Chhattisgarh. On Monday, the state recorded a 30% less infection rate. Chhattisgarh has witnessed 63,000 active Covid cases in the past week. The Health Ministry has also stated that 90% of the Covid patients have recovered after being in home isolation for a long time.
On Monday, the state tested 48,673 individuals for Covid. Among these, 13,834 individuals have tested positive. On Sunday, the infection rate was 28%. Due to the recent data of Covid-19 in Chhattisgarh, experts have concluded that there is a ray of hope in the state.
Even, on Monday, 11,815 Covid patients have recovered. Among the 63,000 cases of Covid of the last week, 10% of the individuals were admitted to the hospital. From the very start of the spread of the deadly virus, till now, 5,44,840 patients were infected with Covid in Chhattisgarh. Among which 4,10,913 patients have recovered so far.
After the state reported less infection rate, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel has stated to keep an eye on the railway stations and also at every check posts. The CM has also ordered the state collectors to arrange remdesivir injections and all other essential components of Covid-19.
