Mumbai: The trailer of ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’ is finally out. It is an anthology film on Netflix which beautifully captures the various shades of relationships. The trailer features a struggle for daily life, a calculated friendship, a twisted tale of lovers, and also a journey to find solace. Actor Konkana Sen Sharma is in the film.
She shared the trailer on her IG handle and wrote, “Ajeeb Daastaans Trailer! Twists in the story and twisted characters go hand in hand. #AjeebDaastaans premieres 16 April, only on Netflix”.
Besides Konkana, Nushrrat Bharuccha, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shefali Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari and Manav Kaul are also in the film. The trailer features four unique stories that are led by the female protagonists. ‘Majnu’, ‘Khilauna’, ‘Geeli Pucchi’ and ‘Ankahi’ are the four stories in the film.
The first story features Fatima as a bride whose husband is Jaideep. In the second story, Nushratt is seen as a house help living with her young daughter. The third story shows Shefali as a mother to a deaf daughter. And the final story is played by Konkana, who is a factory worker.
The film is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Kayoze Irani. On April 16 in 2021, the film will start streaming on Netflix.
