Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday took to his Instagram handle to take a walk down the memory lane, when he had the chance for playback for the first time, that too for his own film, Mr. Narwarlal. The movie was a comedy-drama, where he paired with the graceful actress Rekha.

The song Senior Bachchan is seen rehearsing for in his throwback picture, was ‘Mere Paas Aao’, which he recorded for the movie. It was composed by music director Rajesh Roshan, who is also seen in the monochromatic picture.

Besides, the picture features a little Hrithik Roshan sitting on a chair with folded legs, observing the rehearsal. Bachchan Ji is seen seated and holding a paper which probably contains the lyrics, and rehearsing for the song, with his signature look which became popular among the youths back in the 70s – a pair of bell-bottom pants and a full-sleeve striped T-shirt.

“..the first song I sang for film .. ‘mere paas aao..’ for Mr Natwarlal .. music rehearsal with Rajesh Roshan, Music Director .. AND .. all this being overseen by one ‘palti maar ke’ little one sitting on the bench … a certain HRITHIK ROSHAN.” – the Shahenshah of Bollywood wrote in the caption. The post, within an hour of its upload, received thousands of hearts and comments by several celebrity followers and fans.
