Raipur: CM Bhupesh Baghel, on January 6, will be on a tour to the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, where there are a number of functions lined up for him to attend and set foundation stones or participate in the ‘Bhoomi Poojan’ (land worshipping). He also has a general assembly to be present at, apart from a number of other activities.

Baghel will start his tour from Janjgir-Champa Circuit House at 11 AM on Wednesday, and reach Pendri. From there he will fly to Jogisar village in the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district on a chopper; his chopper journey from Pendri will start at 12:15 PM.

At Jogisar village, the chief minister will inspect the Narva Stop Dam, after which, he will meet and greet the members of a Women self-help group in the village.

After all these, at 1 PM, the CM will reach Danikundi village located at Vkaskhand Marwahi, where he will address a general assembly after taking part in land worshipping of various development activities, distributing commodities, and cheques to various schemes.

The Chief Minister at 2:15 PM will inspect the value addition center with various facilities in Danikundi, and from 3:15, he will be in a discussion with heads of various organizations, society chiefs, public representatives, youth delegations, and various officials. He will leave Danikundi at 4 PM and return to Raipur by 5.
