Ind-Aus: India sets 303 target for Australia; Hardik, Jadeja pull off india to reach the score

Sports: In the third and final Paytm ODI, India sets the decent score of 302 at the Canberra stadium. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja nearly doubled India’s 32-over score of 152 for 5 has helped to set a target of 303 for Australia on Wednesday.

The last five overs yielded 76 runs, but it remained to be seen whether the damage in the first 32 overs was enough for Australia to seal a sweep of the three-ODI series.

Coming together in the 32nd over, Pandya and Jadeja stitched 150 runs for the unbroken sixth wicket to change the complexion of the game, which makes no difference to the series result as Australia have already sealed it with back-to-back wins in Sydney.

The first two games turned out to be run-fests in which Australia out-batted Virat Kohli’s men. However,  Today, India won the toss and opted to bat in the third and final ODI against team Australia.

However, The men in blue have already lost the series. They were defeated by the Australian team by 66-run in the first match and by 55-run in the second.

At the personal front, Indian Skipper Virat Kohli added another feather in his cricketing career by being the fastest cricketer to achieve 12,000 ODI runs beating Sachin Tendulkar’s record.

The 32-year-old had 11,977 runs before this game and got to the landmark soon after arriving at the crease after winning the toss and batting first. Kohli got to the milestone in his 242nd inning beating the previous record set by Sachin Tendulkar, who got his 12000th run in his 300th inning.
