On the day of Janmashtami, ISKCON Temple in Vrindavan situated in Uttar Pradesh had been sealed after 22 people tested positive for COVID-19 which included priests of the temple. Officials said that movement of people has now completely restricted and the temple is sealed.
According to the report, the officials of the health department had accumulated the samples of 165 people who were staying in the residential intricate of the temple after two denizens were found positive. Out of 165, 22 people have been found to be infected from the COVID-19 virus.
