Lahore: Imran Khan reached Lahore High Court to appear for a hearing for igniting violence and torching the house of the Corps Commander after his arrest last week. The former prime minister was arrested on may 9 in the Al Qadir Trust case.
Imran Khan’s Pakistan Graft case had a hearing today in the Lahore High Court. The case is going on for a long time as the lawyers of Imran Khan and his wife are fighting to protect the former Prime Minister and his wife. Today, Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi has been given bail till 23rd May.
She was also accused in the graft case and the legal team informed the media that she has been given a bail by the Lahore High Court. It is said that she is also involved in the Al Qadir Trust University case. Along with that, the financial help was also received by Bushra Bibi according to the allegations.
Intizar Hussain Panjutha, the lawyer of Imran Khan’s wife, told the media that, “We had requested for a protective bail for Bushra Bibi in Al Qadir Trust Case and a two-judge bench of LHC has granted the bail till May 23.”
Imran Khan was arrested for the Pakistan Graft case and kept in jail for a few days. But the court later said that Imran Khan’s arrest was illegal and released him. The case regarding the Al Qadir Trust University is still going on and the final result of the same is expected soon.
