Bhopal: The weather seems to have a mind of its own, as the Meteorological Department has once again predicted rain across various parts of the state within the next 24 hours. But that’s not all – brace yourself for Cyclone Moka! From May 10 to May 15, thunderous downpours and heavy rains are expected to hit different parts of the state. 

It’s time to stay safe and dry. The department’s forecast regarding Cyclone Mocha has left many on edge, as heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected to wreak havoc. Keep an eye on the weather updates and be prepared for any situation.

IMD has suggested actions necessary to minimise the damage caused due to rain and thunderstorm.


IMD informed about the affected areas where the rainfall is likely to occur. It tweeted for the same saying that, Dust storm/Thunderstorm with rain (followed by rain) and gusty winds with speed of 30-50 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of many places of Delhi, NCR ( Hindon AF Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar) during next 2 hours.
