On day 3, India at the stumps with 289 runs losing 3 wickets of Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, and Cheteshwar Pujara. Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja got a partnership of 44 off 122 balls and they will continue on Day 4 of the fourth and final Test match against Australia tomorrow.
Subham Gill ended the second session with a century to his name. He comfortably took India to 188 for two at tea. He added 74 for the opening stand with skipper Rohit Sharma and 113 for the second wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara.
Earlier Rohit Sharma looked in good flow as he pulled Michelle Starc behind square for a 6 and ran well between the wickets during the 21st overstand with Gill. On the other hand, Cheteshwar Pujara failed to read Todd Murphy and lost his wicket in the 62nd over.
India resumed their innings on day 3 from 121 to one with Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubham guilt on 22 (46) and 65(119) respectively.
