Shattering 21 records so far, SRKs return to the silver screen brought a thunderstorm at the box office as it collected Rs 429 crore in merely 4 days surpassing the like of KGF2 and Bahabuli.

Emerging as the fastest Rs 200 crore film, Pathaan hit another Rs. 100 crore+ on its 4th day, as it registered Rs. 53.25 crore net in India (Hindi, All Dubbed versions), taking India’s gross to Rs. 64 crores. The overseas gross on day 4 is at Rs. 52 crores, taking the total collection on its fourth day of release to Rs. 116 crore gross. With its fourth-day collections, Pathaan has emerged as one of the fastest films to cross the Rs. 400 cr mark at the worldwide box office, collecting a staggering Rs. 429 cr in 4 days.

Adding to its streak, the top weekend gross of all time at the Hindi box office crossed the $20 million mark since its release globally and continues to attract a humungous crowd, market experts stated. The film is expected to be the highest-grossing Bollywood flick in the Gulf circuit soon.

Speaking about this record, director Siddharth Anand said in a statement, “It feels incredible to deliver the biggest 3-day collection in the history of Hindi cinema. For someone, who is passionately committed to his craft, this is simply a phenomenal result that will inspire me to push the envelope of cinema in India even further.”

Pathaan is SRKs first big release in over four years. According to sources in the know, the team has decided to host its success party on Monday. It is worth noting that the Pathaan team did not opt for a conventional marketing strategy of media events and interviews. As said earlier by Anand Siddharth, the film’s promotional activities would begin after the release. Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham would be seen interacting for the first time in terms of Pathaan- the spy thriller that rages at the box office.
