UJJAIN: Ahead of the third and final round of ODI against the Kiwis, players from the Indian cricket team were seen at the renowned Mahakaleshwar Temple here on Monday morning and attended the ‘Bhasma Aarti’. The players were felicitated by Ujjain Lok Sabha MP Anil Firozia during their visit.

The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, and Washington Sundar reached Mahakal temple with the staff of the Indian cricket team early Monday morning. Star batter of India Suryakumar Yadav said that they prayed to Mahakal for the speedy recovery of their teammate Rishabh Pant.

Interacting with the press reporters, Suryakumar Yadav said- “We prayed for the speedy recovery of Rishabh Pant. His comeback is very important to us. We have already won the series against New Zealand, looking forward to the final match against them.”

Team India will play the third and final match of the ODI series against New Zealand on Tuesday in Indore at the Holkar Stadium. India secured a comprehensive victory eight-wicket victory in the second ODI to secure their seventh consecutive ODI series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur on Saturday.

In the third and final round, team India focuses on the middle order as it contemplates rotating its bowlers. So far Rohit Sharma and Shubham Gill have proved their mettle and drove the match to an unassailable lead. Top officials state this match will be a perfect opportunity for  Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav to get some batting practice in match situations.
