BIJAPUR: In a cowardly act, Naxals in CGs Bijapur killed a villager who had gone to sell paddy in the Usur police station area.
The incident was reported to Naxal-dominated Bijapur Superintendent of Police Anjaneya Varshney. The deceased is identified as Ramamurthy Gatpalli.
As per reports, Gatpalli had gone to Usur to sell paddy at the Usur Paddy Procurement Centre.
So far details on the reason for the attack are not ascertained.
