BHOPAL: State Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Friday has ordered an inquiry into the plane crash incident that took place in Rewa district.
As per reports, a trainer pilot succumbed to the crash into a temple at Dumri Village in Rewa district while the trainee suffered injury.
“The inquiry will find out the reasons for the plane crash. A technical team has left from Mumbai and the accident site has been covered,” Mishra said in a press conference.
Talking to media, Navneet Bhasin, the superintendent of police in Rewa district, said: “A plane of Falcon Aviation Academy met with an accident at around 11:30-12 pm yesterday night. There were two members on board, the trainer died while the other person is undergoing treatment at the hospital.”
The deceased pilot has been identified as Vimal Kumar, a resident of Patna, Bihar, while injured trainee is Sonu Yadav of Jaipur.
The trainee aircraft of a private company was taxiing from Chorhata Airstrip when it crashed after colliding with the dome of a temple on Friday morning. Prima facie dense fog is cited as the reason for the crash.
