ANDHRA PRADESH: The Twitter handle of YSR Congress Party- the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh was hacked and defaced on Saturday an official said. Confirming that the account was hacked, AP Chief Digital Director Devendra Reddy Gurrampati in a media interaction said that they are working on resolving the issue. “We have complained to Twitter and they are working on that. It is expected to be resolved soon,” he said.
The hacked account showed bizarre multiple posts put over the last few hours. The account had pictures of BAYC which are nonfungible tokens used for trading in the cryptocurrency market. Pinned posts on the account pertained to cryptocurrency majorly with a photo of Tesla Chief and new CEO of Twitter Elon Musk.
Several posts were reposted from other handles. “Happy Thanksgiving, Apes. The Trial begins this Christmas. (sic),” one of the tweets read. “My BAYC x SuperPlastic arrived! Well worth the wait! (sic)” – another one read.
The Twitter handle of the Telugu Desam party was hacked on October 1st.
