KHARGONE: Four men died and two were injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Khargones’ Maingaon police station area on Sunday.
The accident took place about 15 km from the police HQs officials said, confirming that two others were also injured in the accident. Interacting with the media reporters, additional superintendent of police (ASP) Manish Khatri informed that the four men died on the spot following the collision including two who were brothers. The injured have been moved to a hospital, he added.
The deceased are identified as Pyarsingh Naharsingh, Sandeep Roop Singh, and brothers Dum Singh Waskle and Santosh Rumsingh Waskle. Those injured are identified as Mithya Mohan and Sunil Rameshone.
Preliminary investigations revealed one rider had two pillions while the collision took place. A probe into the accident is initiated. The bodies of the deceased will be handed over to the families following a post-mortem.
