MADHYA PRADESH: The Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed in MP from Mortakka village on Saturday. Along with Rahul Gandhi, sister Priyanka and husband Robert Vadra also supported the former interim President. The Congress leaders’ itinerary for today also has a visit to Mhow — the birthplace of Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Miss Gandhi and her husband joined Rahul Gandhi on November 24th for the first time ever since the Yatra began. The Congress commented on Priyanka’s joining the Bharat Jodo Yatra through a tweet, “The steps will be strong, when we walk together,” with a picture of Rahul and Priyanka walking together.
Earlier on Friday offered prayers at Omkareshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district after completing the third day’s march of the Bharat Jodo Yatra that is currently passing through the central Indian state. Following this, Rahul Gandhi performed a Narmada Aarti at the bank of the river along with several party supporters.
