Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The Income Tax Department has raided 40 locations of the Bansal Group in MP’s capital city Bhopal on Friday morning. The Income Tax Department also raided Indore, and Mandideep apart from Bhopal. To conduct the raids, the Income Tax teams arrived in vehicles bearing the stickers of Ring Ceremonies of Rashmi and Arvind. All the vehicles have Indore numbers. The raids are still going on.

Bansal Group has redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15 last year. Bansal Group is working in various sectors like Media, Bansal Construction & Pathway, Bansal Group of Hospital, Bansal Group of Education, Bansal TMT Saria, and Bansal Soya Cooking Oil. 

The Income Tax Department team had raided 18 locations of the Bansal Group a year ago as well. The owners of the Bansal Group are Anil Bansal and Sunil Bansal. They bought Ayushman Hospital last year. At that time, the team also raided the residences of two doctors associated with them.

The IT team has sealed the second floor of Bansal Engineering College in Mandideep. The team reached here in two vehicles and started checking the documents in the accounts department. At Mhow’s Sushila Devi Bansal College of Institute, a team of about 10 officers arrived in two vehicles and started taking action in the accounts section.

Action is also going on in the TMT rebar factory in the industrial area, the gate of which is locked. The Income Tax team is also questioning the employees of the factory. A total of 4 places have been raided in Mandideep. Officers have arrived in about 120 vehicles in the raid operation which is going on in different cities of the state.
