RAIPUR: On public demand, the National Tribal festival which saw a foot fall of nearly1 lakh people from across the country in three days has been extended until Nov 6th.

Nearly 1,500 dancers who departed from the state yesterday ahd arrived from across the country and nations like Mozambique, Mongolia, Tonga, Russia, Indonesia, Maldives, Serbia, New Zealand, and Egypt arrived for the festival.

While the dance performances and competitions have ended, people can visit the various booths set up by the transport, police, and health departments as well as the food stalls offering regional and international cuisine.

On Thursday, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren too visited the festival.
