KANKER, CG: Two naxals were killed during an encounter between BSF’s 81 battalion and DRG in the forest of Kadme village near Antagarh. As per sources cross firing was reported from the forests at 4 A.M. on Monday morning. The Naxals later fled into the forests, the sources added.
The deceased have not been identified however it is being said they were commanders of the Maoist committee. The encounter was confirmed by Kanker SP Shalabh Sinha in a press briefing who stated that an operation was launched in the forests of Kadme village to comb out Naxals.
