Actor Jacqueline Fernandez has been summoned once again for questioning by Delhi EOW officials said on Sunday.
The Sri-Lankan model has been instructed to be at the EOW office at 11 A.M on Monday to question further in her connection to the Rs 200 crore extortion case linked to jailed conman Sukesh.
On Wednesday this week, Jacqueline Fernandez was interrogated about her alleged involvement in the multi-crore money laundering case and the gifts she received from conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.
A day after Jacqueline was questioned first, Nora Fatehi along with Mehboob Khan and Pinky Irani were interrogated after they learnt about their connection to the conman. The probe agency further alleged that Irani also introduced TV actress Nikita Tamboli, Chahat Khanna, Sophia Singh, and Arusha Patil to Chandrasekhar in Tihar Prisons. All of them had gone to Delhi’s Tihar Jail to meet him via his associate Irani. The case was busted by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, which was later handed over to the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) because of the huge amount of funds exchanging hands at the behest of multimillionaire conman were hundreds of crores.
