Bhopal: Authorities in Bhopal have demolished the illegal house of a school bus driver in the Shahpura area after he was arrested for allegedly raping a three-and-half-year-old nursery student of a private school inside the bus.
Municipality officials stated that accused driver had allegedly encroached upon the garden area near Vasant Kunj Colony in the Shahpura area and constructed the illegal property.
Collector Avinash Lavania has also directed women staff to be deployed on buses that carry girl students and made CCTV cameras mandatory.
A complaint was filed by the girl’s parents against him and the female school attendant on witnessing unsual situatuon. The case was registered under section 376 (rape) of the IPC and under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO
A Billabong High International School nursery class girl student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a school bus driver. On Sept 8th accused in the presence of the lady conducter carried out the crime.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has written to the Bhopal district collector and sought a detailed report on the incident within three days. The school education department has constituted a three-member probe panel, headed by a joint director level officer, to investigate the matter.
