Raipur: On the ocassion of Teacher’s day, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel announced to introduce Chhattisgarh dialect in the state education system. Local Chhattisgarhi language and tribal dialects will be made the medium of instruction across Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Monday.

As per the announcement, schools will teach in the tribal language once a week in Bastar and Surguja regions while the other districts without the prescribed language will teach in Sanskrit.

Swami Atmanand English medium schools will also include Sanskrit language as a teaching medium.

He focused on childs overall developement during his annoucement. “Physical, mental and intellectual and keeping this in mind, the Chhattisgarh government is adopting innovation to promote education, he said”
