Durg: The CBI on Friday conducted search operation at the residences of former CMD of project Hindustan Copper Ltd Santosh Verma in Road Avenue B Quarter No. 11D in Sector 2 and former Deputy GM of Bhilai Steel Plant. As per reports, a 5 member team arrived at the ex officer’s residence with a search warrant.
Sources stated that five locations including Sector 2 Talpuri, Maitri Kunj were also raided in Bhilai. The raid was confirmed by Durg District Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallav. So far there are no media reports. Speculations are making rounds documents are being screened
