Indore: The Banganga police on Tuesday arrested 5 minors in connection to the murder of Sunil Verma. Detailed investigation revealed that the accused were intoxicated and stopped the delivery boy with an intention to rob him.
Sunil Verma – a Zomato delivery partner was stabbed to death and robbed while on duty on July 28th. Sunil was stopped by a group of boys at Kumedi Road while he was on his way to deliver a food parcel to Karolbagh.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was stabbed five times and was rushed to the nearby hospital and succumbed to the injuries the day later i.e- Friday, July 29th. The police during their investigation recovered his bag, a cap and other Zomato items that were to be delivered.
