Raipur: Results of the CGBSE were declared on Saturday, with the girls outclassing the boys in the overall percentage. The Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam has announced the results for classes 10 and 12th. Students could check the results at the official website results.cg.nic.in or cgbse.nic.in.

The total pass percentage of class 12 exams stood at 79.30 per cent while the 74.23 per cent out of all students who appeared for the class 10 exams passed. In the Class 12 exams, girls have recorded a pass percentage of 81.15 per cent, while 77.03 per cent of boys have passed. In the Class 10 exams, 78.84 per cent girls passed. This figure for boys stood at 69.07 per cent,” Mr Tekam said

A total of 2.92 lakh students had registered for the Higher Secondary Examination this year, out of which only 2.87 lakh appeared, as per the information given by the state education department. Around 3.75 lakh registered for the High School Certificate Examination (10th grade) out of which 3.63 lakh comprising 1.71 lakh boys and 1.91 lakh girls appeared for the exams.
