New Delhi: Airtel broadband services were restored on Saturday at 1 am after a major outage of its services was reported in Delhi and major states. Consumers on Friday night were unable to access the internet on both mobile and desktop.

According to website outage monitoring platform DownDetector.com, the outage which affected millions of users across the country started around 10.30 p.m. on Friday night and was resolved around 1 a.m. on Saturday.

Cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and other major cities. Around 33 per cent of users had no signals, while 30 per cent had issues with mobile internet. Nearly 37 per cent faced a complete blackout, according to the outage detecting platform. Users took to social media and lashed out at the company’s services as they were unable to access the internet on all their digital devices.

It is not clear why the outage happened and neither the company has issued any statement. However, users began complaining about the failed internet services on Twitter.
