Satna District, MP: Four girls fell ill after getting vaccinated under the 12+ COVID-19 vaccination program in Madhya Pradesh, officials said on Friday. The girls received their shots at a PHC in Satna District it added.
However, it is reported that the girls are out of danger and recovering, chief medical and health officer (CMHO) Dr Ashok Kumar Awdhiya informed. Nearly 50 children in the 12-14 age group were administered vaccine doses at the Aamdara primary health centre on Thursday, he said. Only four of them from local school fell ill and were immediately rushed to the Maihar civil hospital, from where they were taken to the district hospital in Satna for further treatment, he added.
A probe by the state health department and district administration has been initiated, sources said. They also informed that District collector Anurag Verma visited the hospital and enquired about their condition.
