Bhopal: The Budget Session for Shivraj Singh Led Assembly is scheduled to begin from March 7th, an official statement said on Thursday. The session on 7th March would begin with an address by Governor Mangubhai C Patel.

The notice further stated that the house would have 13 sittings which will conclude on March 25th. The state’s budget for FY 2022-23 would be tabled during the session. While the Budget is being held under the shadow of the third wave, members of the house have been strictly instructed to abide by the norms and maintain social distance.

The centre on 31st January presented the Union Budget for 2022-23. Madhya Pradesh through the Budget received approval for the Ken-Betwa Link Project near the Bundelkhand region. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan meeting CM on Thursday welcomed the Budget and thanked him for the approval of the project. The irrigation project is determined to get huge progress for the state, CM stated.
