The much-awaited sequel of Akshay Kumar starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa is yet again pushed ahead. With Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani taking the reins ahead, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 would now be in open in cinema halls on 20 May, the makers announced on Wednesday. Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was initially gearing up to open in cinema halls on 25 March, a date which has now been booked by SS Rajamouli’s much-talked RRR. the makers made the announcement on Wednesday with the new poster of the film.
RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt this week revised their release date and announced March 25 as their opening date after its release got postponed due to Covid-19.
Helmed by Anees Bazmee and written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik, the film also features Tabu alongside Kiara and Kartik. The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios.
The release of the horror-comedy has been moved ahead several times since July 2020 as the makers dint want an OTT release while the nation battled the second wave from July to November. Later they decided to release the movie on March 25, 2022, after the Maharashtra Government announced the re-opening of theatres.
Amongst the other releases that were shifted this week was SLB, Gangubai starring Alia Bhatt as well.
