Kondagaon: 3 persons were killed and another one suffered injuries after a car truck collided on the outskirts of Kondagaon, police said on Tuesday. The accident took place near village Sirpur under Farasgaon police station area on NH 30 on Monday Night Mujgahan station house officer (SHO) Rajendra Diwan said.
According to the information received, 4 persons were going from Bhanpuri to Kanker in a Bolero vehicle, while there was a collision between the 2 vehicles with Swaraj Mazda truck coming from the opposite direction near village Sirpur turn.
The deceased were identified as Raju Lal Nishad (45), Bhola Nishad (32), and Shiv Kumar Sahu (28) all 3 resides from Pakhanjur, he said, adding that the injured, Udalchand Yadav, is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Farasgaon Police have registered two offences in connection with the incident and began a probe, Diwan said.
