Raipur: In Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh, the son of Congress leader Janpad Panchayat President died in a road accident. He was returning home after finishing his work. On the way, the car went out of control and hit a tree. It was told that the speed of the car was so fast that the youth died on the spot. The matter is of Magarlod police station area.
According to the information, Diwakar Thakur resident of Rankadih son Saurabh Thakur (22) had gone to Magarlod for some personal work. After work, he was going back to Rankadih. Meanwhile, on the way around 9.30 pm, his car went uncontrollably and collided with a tree in Parswani Marg. After hitting the tree, the car fell into a pit below and Saurabh died there. The car has also been blown up.
As per the information of the people around, the police team reached the spot. Thereafter he was immediately taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead. After the incident, the family members were also informed about this. It has been told that Saurabh’s mother Jyoti Diwakar Thakur is a Congress leader. She is currently the President of Magarlod Janpad Panchayat. Prior to this, she had also been a Zilla Panchayat member. Police has handed over the body to the relatives after postmortem.
