Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, the weather has taken a dramatic phase. Several regions of the state including the capital have reported incessant rains overnight as an effect of which drop in temperature was recorded

As per the forecast by the Met dept. Chhattisgarh would witness chilly winters in the upcoming 3-4 days. Currently, Raipur is the warmest district in the state.

The cyclonic circulation in the state, according to weather forecasters, extends up to 5.8 km above sea level in and around South interior Karnataka. As a result, the state is experiencing rain. Water logging has occurred in numerous parts of the capital as a result of late-night rain. While the weather has been favourable due to rain on one hand, crops have suffered on the other. Paddy harvesting is currently going on in the state. Farmers have also been impacted by the rains.
