Uttarkhand: Heavy rains pounded various parts of north India on Monday, including Uttarakhand, where 5 persons, including 3 Nepalese labourers, were killed in rain-related accidents. The injured were sent to the Kotdwar base hospital, according to District Magistrate Vijay Kumar Jogdande. Meanwhile, the water level in the Nainital lake is overflowing for more than 40 hours, leading to flooded streets of the famous tourist spot.
