New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will unveil ‘PM GatiShakti,’ a national master plan for multi-modal connectivity, on Wednesday. According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), this strategy aims to institutionalize holistic planning to solve the issue of a lack of cooperation across multiple agencies.

During the event, PM Modi will officially launch the new exhibition complex at Pragati Maidan (Exhibition Halls 2 to 5). The India International Trade Fair (IITF), the India Trade Promotion Organisation’s main event, will take place in these new display halls from November 14 to 27, according to the PMO.

GatiShakti, according to the PMO, is built on six pillars: comprehensiveness, prioritization, optimization, synchronization, and analytical and dynamic thinking. It will create a big number of jobs, reduce logistical costs, improve supply chains, and make local goods globally competitive.
