SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will lock horns with each other in their next encounter of IPL 2021. The 44th match of the tournament will begin 7:30 PM today at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Both the teams won their previous encounters in the tournament.
This has been a disappointing season for the SunRisers. They have just two wins from ten games, as a result of which, they have hit rock bottom, reeling at 18th place on the table. In their previous game against Rajasthan, they claimed their 1st win of the UAE leg. Asked to chase 168, Hyderabad got home with 7 wickets to spare comfortably. On the other hand, CSK are on a winning spree in the UAE leg. They have won all three of their matches so far and sit at the top of the table with 16 points. They continue their dominant run against Kolkata last time out, winning the game by 2 wickets chasing a challenging target of 172 runs.
A win tonight will make them the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season. With a top-two finish in sight, CSK will want to keep winning games from here.
