Delhi: Novel Corona Virus (nCov-19) reaches 283 in India after 47 fresh cases were reported from various regions of the country, confirms Ministry of Health today.
The cases have been confirmed from 22 states and union territory in India, where 244 are Indian nationals and the remaining are foreign nationals. The total figure also includes 4 deaths reported from Delhi,Karnataka, Maharashtra and Punjab and 22 recovered patients.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called for Janta(public) Curfew on 22nd March, Sunday as a test run for social distancing over the next few days to fight the spread of coronavirus. The curfew will be observed from 7 am to 9 pm
According to the reports,Maharashtra tops the chart with 64 confirmed corona cases, Delhi has so far reported 26 cases while uttar pradesh registered 28 cases so far, Karnataka reports 15 cases so far. The number of cases in Gujarat rose to 13 whereas Chhattisgarh, Puducherry and Chandigarh reported one case each.
