Mumbai: IT Department surveyed Bollywood actor Sonu Sood’s office in Mumbai and six other locations which documented connections with the actor and his companies. According to sources, the IT department surveyed location related to the actor since reports of alleged tampering in accounts surfaced from his office.
This survey comes after the AAP announced the Dabangg star as the brand ambassador for the Delhi government’s maiden mentorship program for school children. Shortly after the meet, Sonu Sood refused to respond to speculations of joining politics. However, in another interview, he clarified that the reports highlighted in media on his political ambitions were “false and baseless”. He added that none of his family members or himself was joining any political party.
The 48-year-old star had earned fame and braced the hearts of several migrant workers after he arranged relief for stranded workers as the Centre announced an abrupt lockdown on March 24 2020. His humanitarian efforts have earned him legions of fans, with many bombarding him daily with requests for help.
On the work front, the actor would be seen in the period drama ’Prithviraj’. Apart from this, his fans could witness his explicit performance in the Telugu action-drama ‘Acharya’.
