In another Naxal attack plan busted near Dantewada CRPF camp in Chhattisgarh, the CRPF Jawan recovered 5 Kg IED and diffused it on time. The jawans of CRPF Battalion 231 of Kondadanwali camp near Dantewada went out for the regular search of the area.
On Sunday morning also, under the command of CO Surendra Singh, the jawans went for the search when they found the 5kg IED planted on the Naga Tekri area which is about 100 metres from the main road. With the help of the Bomb disposal squad team, they were able to diffuse the IED.
This is not the first time that an IED has been discovered from the area. According to reports, in the last 3 years, a total of 120 IEDs have been recovered from the area that has been defused by the bomb disposal squad team. The Naxalites plan such attacks on the army jawans frequently.
The area was under their control for a long time. But after the CRPF base camps have been established there, the Naxals have left the place. And since then they are targeting the jawans incessantly. But thankfully, the army jawans of the CRPF Battalion 231 are brave enough to have faced the Naxal attacks courageously every time.
