Third song of the mythological drama Ramayana is out. Mangal Rang, was launched by the makers on Sunday, featuring lead cast Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita.

The track is composed by AR Rahman while singing superstars Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have sung it. The song is written by Dr Kumar Vishwas. It has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, and the visuals show the wedding of Ram and Sita, palace scenes and moments from their Vanvas. The song follows the film’s second track, Ravana Tandav, which features Yash as Ravana.

Soon after the release, social media users on X praised the chemistry between the leads and the soothing melody.

One user wrote, “The song #MangalRang from #Ramayana is so romantic. Honestly, great chemistry between Sita and Rama (Ranbir and Sai) is already palpable, and I love it when Rama is shown romantic too, and not stoic as a popular belief. I was smiling the whole time I watched it.”
Another user highlighted the spiritual appeal of the song, saying, “This is how beautifully we see our Lord Ram and Mata Sita together. The magic, the grace, the divinity. Ranbir and Sai’s chemistry feels truly divine.”

Speaking about the composition, Rahman said he wanted the music to capture the love and devotion between Ram and Sita. Ghoshal said she approached the song with a lot of love and hopes it brings listeners warmth and peace.

Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled to release worldwide on November 5, 2026, while the second part is planned for Diwali 2027. The film also stars Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
