Mumbai just got its biggest Bollywood moment of the week! Sanjay Leela Bhansali dropped the first-look poster of Ranbir Kapoor from his hugely awaited “Love & War” on Thursday, and social media has officially lost it.
The poster features Ranbir in a rugged look, complete with a blood-stained sleeve and a bullet mark on his shirt, wearing a serious expression — trust SLB to turn even a single poster into a full-blown cinematic moment.
Alia Bhatt shared the poster on her Instagram with a caption that read, “Hey Handsome.. Love & War in cinemas, January 21, 2027.” Vicky Kaushal, the film’s third lead, jumped in right behind her with his own excited shout-out for his co-star’s fierce new avatar.
The makers themselves went full filmy with their caption, “Woh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon!” — and honestly, it fits.

Funny how much this release date has moved around. Bhansali’s team first eyed Christmas 2025, shifted that to March 20, 2026, and have now landed on January 21, 2027 — rolling out in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu at the same time.
Shooting wrapped a while ago.. The film’s in post-production now, gearing up for that January date.
