Suriya and Jyotika, the actor duo have been together for 20 years now, and have recapped their vows in a Christian ritual. The special occasion was captured on social media by Jyotika, who posted a set of photos which showed the intimate moment she shared with her family and close friends.
The couple, who got married in 2006, looked elegant in their wedding outfits. Suriya was wearing a traditional white tuxedo and Jyotika was wearing a form-fitting white wedding dress. Diya and Dev were also at the ceremony and each had their families.

The couple is shown in another set of pictures, standing together on a deck. Both Jyotika was worn a flowing lavender-lilac off-shoulder gown and Suriya was dressed in a deep plum-burgundy velvet suit.
Jyotika shared the images and thanked the family members, friends and professionals that helped make this celebration special. She was especially thankful to Indrajith and Tija Indarjith’s support, saying that their friendship was all about the people who were there.
Valley Girl Jyotika also expressed her gratitude to queen of the wedding, Lisa Bauer for her efforts that made their dream a reality! She commended the efforts of Bauer in managing multiple components of the ceremony, such as makeup, beautification, invitational arrangement, travel etc.

Suriya and Jyotika got married on 11th September 2006. The couple initially got acquainted while shooting Poovellam Kettuppar together in 1999. They became friends and When they became good friends it turned into Love.
Then, when they were dating for several years they finally got engaged and married and they are now regarded as one of the popular film idols of the Tamil Film Industry. Their new express marriage renewal ceremony is yet another significant phase in their marriage journey.
