Kunal Kemmu’s new film directed VIBE, has taken another step towards its theatrical release. It has gone in for certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and will be issued an ‘A’ certificate. The certification follows days before the movie is released in theaters on 18th September.
The CBFC has given ‘A’ rating to VIBE, as per a Bollywood report. The actual duration of the film too has been announced on the CBFC website. The film is a total of 145.55 mins or 2 hrs 25 mins 55 s. The certification and runtime release have helped to build up the anticipation for Kemmu’s second film as director.
VIBE is now the direction and acting of Kunal Kemmu. The film has a an ensemble cast of stars such as Preity G Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Vanshika Dhir and Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua along with Yashpal Sharma.
Director Preity G Zinta’s debut film since her comeback to the big screen seems to be another outstanding undertaking. Recently she was present in the film “Batwara 1947” too got an ‘A’ certificate.
Kunal Kemmu’s larynx has returned to performing after his first feature film, Madgaon Express, as VIBE is his 2nd directorial effort. Its former actor/filmmaker has talked about creating links amongst his movies and maybe create a bigger world.
In fact, Kemmu was quizzed about creating a planned connection among his works in an interview with Hindustan Times earlier this year. Those remarks had left a lot of questions in the minds of many wondering whether his future movies would ever exist in an integrated world of film.
VIBE is now officially rated ‘A’’ and will be released on 18th September. Comedy, action plus Kemmu’s direction have made the film one of the upcoming ones to watch.
