A day after the NEET PG exams was cancelled, technical glitches disrupted an AIIMS recruitment re-examination at the same center in Jaipur on Monday, triggering a protest by the candidates.

The AIIMS exam has been cancelled at the center and would be re-conducted after a few days, Sanganeer police SHO Kamlesh Kumar said.

The incident was reported at the same center as that of the PG- NEET– the iON Digital Zone Examination in Sitapura, where the AIIMS was conducting the re-examination for recruitment to Group B and Group C in non-academic posts under the Common Recruitment Examination 5.

A large number of students had reached the examination center, for the exa.  scheduled to be conducted from 9 a.m. to noon.

However, the exam started 30 minutes late due to some technical issues and the server went down within a few minutes, causing inconvenience to the candidates, the SHO said.

A couple of power outages also disrupted the process of the examination.

Following the disruptions, the candidates staged a protest, venting out their anger over the conduct of the exam.

The screens reportedly stopped working, following which angry students left the examinations and protested outside.

The same centre experienced a technical problem during the NEET PG examination held on Sunday, where the online test was disrupted because of repeated power outages.

The NBEMS has announced a re-exam and mentioned to reissue the admit cards and share the details with the candidates separately.
