Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has received online threat linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang through a purported social media post. However, Mumbai Police are verifying an alleged social media threat to Aamir Khan linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. No formal complaint has been filed by the actor so far.

According to reports, the alleged threat was issued in the names of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Arzu Bishnoi, and another individual identified as Tyson Bishnoi. However, the social media post has not been independently verified.

The purported post claimed that Aamir Khan was promoting what it described as “love jihad” and warned that the actor would face consequences. It further stated that those allegedly encouraging such activities in the name of stardom would be “dealt with” and “silenced”. The authenticity of the message remains unconfirmed.

The alleged post also referred to the kidnapping, trafficking and sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar last month.

While praising the administration for its response, the message warned that anyone allegedly involved in the crime who escaped legal action, as well as those purportedly trying to shield the accused, would face consequences.

It also paid tribute to two individuals identified as Parvesh and Himanshu, referring to them as “martyred brothers”.

According to sources, Mumbai Police received information regarding the alleged threat through Facebook and a voice note. Officials are currently verifying the authenticity of both.

Sources said that neither Aamir Khan nor his representatives have filed a formal complaint so far. Police are expected to register a case if a complaint is received from the actor or his team.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has repeatedly threatened actor Salman Khan over the past several years.

The gang has linked its hostility towards Salman Khan to the 1998 blackbuck hunting case during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain near Jodhpur, alleging that the incident hurt religious sentiments associated with the Bishnoi community.

The gang had also claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence in April 2024. The actor’s name also surfaced after the killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, when members of the gang allegedly claimed that those associated with Salman Khan would also be targeted.
