Microsoft magnate Bill Gates admits having had 3 extramarital affairs. During a closed door testimony to the House Oversight Committee, Bill Gates identified three women he had affairs with during his marriage to Melinda French Gates, which Epstein knew.
During a testimony held June 10, Gates 70 not accused of any wrongdoing voluntarily met the House representatives to answer questions about his dealings with the Epstein which began in 2011 as he sought support for his global health philanthropy but ended in late 2014. In a 138-page transcript that was recently discovered, Epstein said- “It was after this that I learned Epstein had become aware of sensitive information about my personal life, including the fact that I had been unfaithful in my marriage,” He added. “These affairs had nothing to do with my interactions with Epstein, but they were painful for my family.”
He confirmed that earlier this year he had two affairs with Russian women while being married and further went on to say that Epstein tried to blackmail him about his infidelities“ He was unsuccessful in this effort, but it shows some of the ways he tried to leverage his interactions with me to further his agenda,” Gates said. “I should never have met with Epstein in the first place.”
Gates sharing his first interaction with the late financer revealed that he was introduced to Epstein by a longtime employee who later left the Gates Foundation. Gates went on to share that he believes this employee was the one who told Epstein about the affairs.
Gates connection the accused late convicted child sex offender returned to the spotlight following the release of the documents by the US department of Justice that included years-old emails from Epstein to himself claiming Gates got a sexually transmitted infection from “Russian girls” and had sought Epstein’s help to hide it from then-wife French Gates. However, Gates has repeatedly denied Epstein’s “completely false” claims, he testified it was possible that at one point he did share a concern about possibly having one, which “later turned into the lie that I actually had an STD.”
“He never blackmailed me, but looking at these emails, it raises a serious probability that he contemplated blackmailing me,” he said at another point in the testimony. Gates went on to emphasize that he “never witnessed nor had any indication that Epstein was engaged in ongoing criminal conduct,” nor did he visit Epstein’s “island, his ranch, or his Florida home.”
